Fire Safety Program for Kids

The Gwinnett County Public Library system welcomes volunteers from the Gwinnett County Fire Department at the Suwanee Branch for a demonstration of what to do in case of a fire. This program will introduce children, ages 4 & up, to safety techniques like "Stop, Drop & Roll" and "Don't hide- Go Outside!" A fire engine will be present for kids to view and ask questions about the tools and gear needed to put out a fire. Boys and girls will also be instructed in ways to prevent a fire from starting.
