March of Dimes Dining Out Celebrates 30 Years

Atlanta's top dining institutions partner with organization for annual event May 2nd

In celebration of its 30th year, the March of Dimes Georgia Chapter announces more than 50 restaurants that will participate in its annual Dining Out fundraising event May 2nd.  Top restaurateurs have each offered up a table of ten for the evening to serve one of a kind 4-course meals and wine pairings, making it a truly unique dining experience.

Individuals and companies may purchase a table for the event for $1,000 or $1,500, depending on the restaurant.  Participating restaurants include 4th & Swift, Aria, Empire State South, Kevin Rathbun Steak, One Eared Stag, The Optimist, Woodfire Grille and many more. 

Chef Kevin Rathbun will serve as the Honorary Chef at the event, alongside Event Co-Chairs Betsy Camp and Ally May.  Chef Rathbun is the owner of the nationally acclaimed Rathbun's, Kevin Rathbun Steak, Krog Bar and the newly opened KR Steakbar, all in Atlanta.  Previously, Chef Rathbun has worked with renowned chefs and restaurateurs like Pano Karatassos, Bradley Ogden, Emeril Lagasse, and Stephen Pyles.

"I'm excited to be a part of this event, which continuously brings togeher Atlanta's top restaurants for an unbelievably worthy cause - saving babies," said Rathbun."  It is my honor that the funds we raise for this outstanding event will continue to ensure that one day, every baby is born healthy."

This year's event will also include a patron party for those who purchase a table, to be held on April 24, 2014, at the home of Dorothy Mitchell Leef and Forrest Leef.  The patron party will feature cocktails and gourmet appetizers from local chefs.
