OTC Comedy Troupe Spring Fling

The OTC Comedy Troupe is bringing its live comedy improvisational show to Lionheart Theatre on Saturday, April 19th at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets are just $10 per person.  The show infuses comedy improvisation with original sketches that offer a blend of Saturday Night Live and Second City.  Audience suggestions help the actors create scenes on the spot and allow the participants a chance to be the star of the show.  The show will also include sketches like Celebrity Cow Tipping, Hamlet Over Easy and impressions of Meryl Streep, Ricky Gervais, Anne Coulter and Gov. Chris Christie.   To purchase tickets in advance or get more info - go to http://www.lionhearttheatre.org.

OTC Productions also recently released its first web series Death by South which takes southern ghost stories and infuses them with a splash of comedy.  The series surrounds a pair of over-zealous ghost hunters, a reluctant medium and an irreverent group of ghosts who have their own agendas.  The series is the brain child of Kelley Cody-Grimm who created and produced the series along with her husband Max Grimm.  The series was shot entirely in Atlanta in Gwinnett County.  The web show includes many members of the OTC Comedy Troupe including Mike Yow, Becca and Michael Parker as well as local actors Nick Elliott, Jay Croft, Kevin McKinney, Karen Covington, Connie Quirk and Karen Smith.  To get more information on Death by South and view the complete web series, you can visit the website at www.deathbysouth.com
