Dog Days in Spring in Suwanee

This wasn't just any 5K run.

"We had to put doggie pots out," noted Amy Doherty, events manager for the City Of Suwanee, before Saturday's Run For The Rescues 5K and fun run. The idea, of course, was not to upset homeowners in the Old Town area when a parade of people and dogs came through.

And almost 1,000 people registered for the runs, which were sponsored by the . And many other people and vendors gathered before and after the runs in Town Center Park.
