Miss All-Star Alabama, a Suwanee Resident, Helps in AIDs Benefit

Newly crowned Bentley Phelps is passionate about children and children's health.

University of Alabama freshman, Suwanee resident and the newly-crowned Miss All-Star Alabama Bentley Phelps volunteered as a Dining Out for Life Ambassador during a citywide fundraiser in Birmingham. A benefit for AIDS Alabama, Dining Out for Life is an annual dining fundraising event raising money for AIDS service organizations.    

Bentley's passion is children and children's health, so she is supporting AIDS Alabama as:

  • Close to 15 million children have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. (UNICEF)
  • 3.34 million children worldwide are living with HIV.  (AIDS.gov)
  • At least two teenagers and young adults in this country are infected with HIV every hour of every day.

The Miss All-Star United States Pageant is a platform that provides a quality pageant and an outlet for the women of America to continue to advance their community service activities. The Miss All-Star United States Pageant believes in the empowerment and advancement of women across our country and the importance of young women getting involved in their communities, state and across the nation.
