Suwanee Police Substation To Be Complete in September

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for the facility at I-85.

The new Suwanee Police substation at I-85 will have its coming-out ceremony in September. The facility at I-85 and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, Sept. 10, officials announced recently.

Ground was broken in January for the facility, which has a total project cost of about $1.9 million. The facility at I-85 and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road will give Suwanee Police greater visibility in the Gateway area, which is a high priority for redevelopment with Suwanee officials.
