Scarecrows in Season Again at Suwanee Community Garden

The annual scarecrow contest is under way again at White Street Park.

Among the signs of fall: Scarecrows are in season at the Suwanee community garden.

The annual Scarecrow Contest is on again at Harvest Farm, the community garden at White Street Park. 

According to Facebook, the annual contest runs through Oct. 25. Competitors can enter by placing a scarecrow at their plot in the garden. Judging will take place on Oct. 25 at 4:00 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Scariest Scarecrow; Funniest Scarecrow; Most Retro Scarecrow; and Children’s Scarecrow. Questions should be directed to kimdthompson@bellsouth.net.

Also, registration for 2014 plots at the community garden is under way.
