Suwanee, Gwinnett Companies To Be in Home Show

North Atlanta Home Show runs Friday-Sunday, Feb. 15-17, at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth.

The Georgia SPCA and The Suwanee Network are scheduled to be among more than 150 businesses participating in the 2013 North Atlanta Home Show Friday-Sunday, Feb. 15-17, at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth.

The show includes new product introductions, seminars, demonstrations, and live radio broadcasts, including the Georgia Gardener, Walter Reeves.

Several Duluth companies also are participating in the show, including Costco Wholesale, Georgia Solar Lighting by the Sunshine Boys, Innovative Outdoors LLC, Lux Lighting Ltd., Pella Window & Door Company, and the Trusted Toolbox.

“The North Atlanta Home Show offers homeowners and future homeowners an ideal environment to see new products, talk to the experts and comparison shop all under one roof,” said Michael Schoppenhorst, director of the show, in a press release. “Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and talk to the experts about their particular home remodeling goals.”

HGTV’s Tonya M. Williams and Reeves are among the experts who will present programs on the Reliable Heating & Air Home Show stage all three days.

Reeves and Dave Baker of 95.5 FM and AM 750 News/Talk WSB will broadcast “The Lawn and Garden Show” from 6 to 10 a.m. and “The Home Fix-It Show” from 10 a.m. to noon, respectively, live on Saturday.

Reeves will lead off the speaker programs Friday at 1 p.m. with “Garden Disasters and How to Avoid Them.” Tonya M. Williams of HGTV’s “Designed to Sell” and “Bang for your Buck” will speak at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on "As the Real Estate World Turns: Exploring Current Trends.”

The Gwinnett Center is located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth, and tickets are available for purchase at the door. General admission is $7, $6 for senior citizens with ID, $5 for military personnel with ID, and free for children 12 and under. 

Hours are noon-6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.
