Gwinnett ReStore Celebrates 3 years of Community Service

Food, fun and bargains planned for the ReStore anniversary celebration for 3 years of serving Gwinnett families in need of homes & hope.

As Gwinnett ReStore prepares for their 3 year anniversary Saturday, August 3rd from 10-4pm, Senior Director Drew Meyer explained, Donations are the lifeblood of our ReStore and we are so grateful to the individuals and corporations that have donated products to help support the work we do to build homes and hope in our community.

A day of festivities is planned in appreciation for the customers and support over the past 3 years.  You won't want to miss the good food, good fun but most of all the GREAT BARGAINS!

ReStore is the retail division of Habitat for Humanity where donated items such as furniture, appliances, home décor and all types of building supplies are sold to support the Habitat mission of building homes and hope in Gwinnett County.

In preparation for the festivities, ReStore teamed up with Gwinnett Technical College to transform the ReStore showroom into a showhouse in time for the anniversary celebration.

Director of Construction Dennis Bowers and his students stepped out of the classroom and into Gwinnett ReStore. The assignment was to build vignettes to resemble living spaces of a home to provide a better visual for merchandising inventory.  CLICK HERE to view the video documentary of the Gwinnett Technical College ReStore Build project.

Drew stated, We truly appreciate all of our customers and look forward to celebrating Saturday, August 3rd beginning at 10am.
