Byron Curtis Dickerson, Gwinnett Physician

Dr. Byron Curtis Dickerson of Suwanee, a notable physician in Gwinnett County, died Oct. 23 at age 50, according to a funeral notice.
According to a notice from the Bill Head Funeral Homes location in Duluth, Dickerson was practicing medicine at Women’s Preferred Healthcare in Lawrenceville, and also was Chief of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Gwinnett Medical Center.
He will be remembered by his family for his generous heart, his love of reading, and his playful sense of humor, the notice said.
A funeral Mass was to be Monday at The Catholic Church of St. Monica in Duluth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Monica Adoration Chapel.
