Is Adele's New Tune the Best 'James Bond' Theme Ever?
The theme from 'Skyfall' is out. Share your thoughts on it and other Bond songs.
The latest "James Bond" movie, "Skyfall," is due in theaters on Nov. 9. But TV commercials and other forms of merchandise already are out. Hey, this is America -- Christmas shopping gets earlier every year too, right?
A signature part of the Bond films is the theme song, which usually features a well-known artist. Some memorable performers and themes are:
- "Live And Let Die," Paul McCartney.
- "Nobody Does It Better," Carly Simon
- "If You Asked Me To," Celine Dion
- "Goldfinger," Shirley Bassey
- "Dr. No," Monty Norman (which has become signature background music for all Bond films since the 1962 original).
