Noodles or pasta (cooked)
1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic-chopped or pressed
15 oz tomato sauce
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup yellow lentils(rinsed)
1/4 tsp each: oregano, basil, thyme, salt and dash of Tabasco sauce or cayenne pepper
Step 1: Saute' onions and garlic in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Step 2: Add remaining ingredients and simmer 45 minutes covered.
Step 3 : (optional) Adjust seasoning to your personal taste
Step 4: Add sauce to noodles or pasta and enjoy!
