North Gwinnett Survives; Norcross Clinches 7-AAAAAA Title

Catching up with Suwanee high school football action.

North Gwinnett defeated Collins Hill, and Norcross rolled over Peachtree Ridge in Suwanee high school football action Friday (October 26).

NORTH GWINNETT 38, COLLINS HILL 24: The host Eagles (5-3, 4-2) led at halftime, but the Bulldogs (7-1, 5-1) rallied with 17 straight points. QB Michael Haynes had 256 yards passing for the Bulldogs, who clinched the No. 2 spot in 7-AAAAA.

NORCROSS 36, PEACHTREE RIDGE 3: The unbeaten Blue Devils (9-0, 7-0) clinched the Region 7-AAAAAA title, breaking North Gwinnett's three-year run. Joseph Wilber had three TD passes, two to running back Alvin Kamara. Peachtree Ridge is now 3-5, 3-3.
