Patch Picks: Local Parks

Featuring five charming local parks you should visit.

The Duluth Patch is running a weekly feature called Patch Picks, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off, and more.

Despite it's relatively small size, the City of Duluth features over a hundred acres of greenspace dedicated to parks. Located on this park land are a host of amenities ranging from community centers to athletic fields, from walking trails to playgrounds. This week's Patch Picks features five of Duluth's parks, some managed by the city, some by Gwinnett County. Visit a park during July, which is National Parks and Recreation Month.
