PRO GOLF TOURNEY FIELD ANNOUNCED: In April 2013, pro tour golf will return to Gwinnett after an absence of several years. And the field at TPC Sugarloaf will include many of the PGA Champions Tour's biggest names.

WOMEN'S FOOTBALL TEAM SETS ROSTER: The women's league now known as the Legends Football League (the word "Lingerie" was dropped) announced its 2013 roster. It plans to debut in Gwinnett in April.

WICKED WEATHER: Wednesday saw some heavy rains and storm-related incidents. But in all, Gwinnett did not get hit as hard as some other areas in Atlanta.
