Suwanee Music Store To Have Live Concert

A longtime Suwanee business has changed its name, and it also is raising its profile and broadening its services.

Town Center Music is what used to be Braswell's Music, and it will hold a live concert in November. The business is at 4072A, Suwanee Dam Road.

Also, the music store has embarked on an ad campaign, and its commercial can be seen in the attached video.

The concert featuring Kelly McRae, an artist who is touring nationally, will be on Friday, November 9, 7:30 p.m.

According to her website, McRae is an artist who has a folk/country touch. Her third album, "Brighter Than the Blues," was released in September 2012.

Her website bio says:

"In February of 2011 McRae sold everything, let go of her Brooklyn apartment and spent the entire year touring America. She traveled coast to coast with her husband and guitarist, Matt Castelein, playing over 200 shows and putting 35,000 miles on their VW camper van. Along the way, she encountered the people and places that inspired the songs on BRIGHTER THAN THE BLUES."

An October 19 post on her Facebook site from a fan reads: "Kelly & Matt, you guys were awesome tonight at The St. Elmo Firehouse."
