Texting while driving.

The other day, our daughter was driving down Smithtown road with two cars in front of her. The lead car was completely in the oncoming lane, even running off the side of the road. As they went over the blind hills on Smithtown, she had chills that any oncoming vehicle would hit this car head on. She and the car in front of her were blowing the horn at the driver. As they came up to the traffic light at Satellite Blvd., the car directly in front of her took a right. When she pulled up behind the car, she saw a young, teen girl leaning forward with her cell phone on the top of her steering wheel and texting with both thumbs. She got the tag number, but we didn't report the car to the Suwanee police as we had no proof and don't want to get sued by the girls parents. When will the police start citing drivers for this? A drunk driver is less dangerous, because at least they are looking at the road. A motorcyclist would have been killed by this teen.
