College is about higher education, and not all of that is in a classroom, right?
Well, along those lines ... Playboy magazine is back with its ranking of Top Party Schools in the United States. And as before, the University of Georgia makes the list, this year coming in at No. 6.
However, Georgia's top football rival, Florida, is at No. 3. And Vanderbilt, thought of as a football also-ran and an academic standout, is ranked at No. 7. The University of Virginia was ranked No. 1
According to the Huffington Post, the schools were picked by Playboy's editors, who considered feedback from readers, students, alumni, campus representatives and others. A spokesperson for Playboy said universities were measured on 900 data points in three categories: Sex, Sports and Nightlife.
It's fitting that Georgia and Florida are ranked highly in the good-time category. Their annual football game in Jacksonville, Fla., is known as the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.
