Cop Shot, Suspect Killed in GA 400 Shooting
Also, a motorist was wounded in the Friday night incident.
An Alpharetta police officer is hospitalized after being shot during a traffic stop and a suspect has been killed during a shootout with Alpharetta and Roswell officers on GA 400 tonight (April 12).
A motorist on GA 400 also was hit by a round during the shooting, but George Gordon, spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, said he did not know her condition. The officer and the female motorist were both taken to North Fulton Hospital. The officer is in stable condition and the woman's injuries seem to be less serious.
