Earlier story:
Gwinnett County police need your help finding the owner of a ring that may have sentimental value.

This Vietnam Veteran ring was found when GCPD officers searched a room at the Wingate Inn on Venture Blvd in Duluth. The search was part of a police investigation of an armed robbery on Oct. 7 at Jen's Hallmark at 2100 Riverside Parkway in Lawrenceville.

During this search, officers found several items from other burglaries, unrelated to the robbery, across Gwinnett County.

Investigators were unable to connect the class ring style jewelry to any of the reported burglaries.

They hope to return the ring to the rightful owner.

The ring is silver-colored with distinct engravings only the owner would be able to describe.

Anyone with information about who the owner of this ring may be is asked to call Gwinnett County Police at 770-513-5331 or 770-513-5300.
