NEWS NEARBY: Burglars Apparently Enter Gwinnett Restaurant Through Ceiling

News from Patch sites in the area.

Gwinnett Police believe a burglar in Buford gained entry into a restaurant office through a ceiling tile.

Officers responded to a burglary report Nov. 11 at the On the Border restaurant in the 3200 block of Buford Drive. The store manager told police he found items from an office, along with ceiling tiles, out of place and items from a desk knocked to the floor.

Officers noted that it appeared as if the burglar entered the office through the ceiling and placed a chair by a filing cabinet to climb back out of the office.
