Gwinnett County Police are investigating an Oct. 21 burglary in which the thief or thieves escaped with a collection box containing donations for charity.

Police were called to the Wendy’s on Mall of Georgia Boulevard in Buford after the manager arrived at work and noticed one of the windows had been smashed. According to the police report, glass was scattered throughout the dining area. The investigating officer was unable to locate any object that might have been used to break the glass.

Though the store is equipped with surveillance cameras, none of them were operational at the time of the burglary.

Police are seeing the public's help in piecing together the accidental death of an Atlanta R&B singer in Gwinnett, according to a media report. 

The victim, Natina Reed, was struck and killed late Friday (October 26) while standing in Lawrenceville Highway, just north of Lilburn, according to police.
