NEWS NEARBY: Would-be Burglar Recorded on Cell Phone Camera

News from Patch sites in the area.

An apartment leasing agent used his cell phone camera to video a man who was breaking into one of the apartments in the Conservatory Apartments in Peachtree Corners.

Now Gwinnett police are searching for him and an apparent accomplice who are suspected of trying to rob one of the apartments on Oct. 28.

Gwinnett Police responded to a call at the apartment building on Peachtree Corners Circle after a resident reported that she had "heard noises which led her to look out into the breezeway of her apartment building," according to police spokesman, Cpl. Edwin Ritter.

The two suspects are described as:

Suspect 1:  White male, 5'06" tall, 160 lbs., early 20s, light beard, brown hair
Suspect 2:  Black male, 6'00" tall, medium build, pock marks or acne scars on face, short dreadlocks or twists

The white male suspect matches the description of a burglary suspect from one additional case in the area.
