Norcross Woman Kills Her Husband, Then Herself

The woman has yet to be identified, according to Gwinnett Police.

A Norcross woman shot her husband to death, then used the weapon to kill herself, Gwinnett Police have confirmed. 

The incident happened before 11 p.m. on Saturday night, on the 6100 block of Zachary Drive in Norcross, according to police. "Investigators are still working on this case," said Cpl. Edwin Ritter of the Gwinnett County Police Dept. He said that the woman, who is in her 40s, has not yet been identified and her family has not yet been notified.

Ritter said that the motivation for the murder and suicide is not yet know.

The man, also presumed to be in his 40s, was dead at the scene; the woman died while being transported to Gwinnett Medical Center.
