The other driver has been identified as Jonathan Bagwell, 28, of Loganville, police said.

Police said Hayden was stopped at Sugarloaf Parkway and waiting to turn left onto Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, and turned into the path of the other driver when the light turned from green to yellow.

Bagwell's vehicle, which was traveling north on Sugarloaf Parkway, struck the right side of Hayden's vehicle. Hayden died on the scene from injuries sustained in the accident. Bagwell was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Speed and right of way are being investigated, police said. Alcohol does not appear to be a contributing factor.
