Suwanee Man Arrested on Financial Card Fraud, Theft Charges

The suspect told police that he found the cards in another town.

A Suwanee man was arrested recently for using financial transaction cards that weren't his, according to police.

According to Suwanee Police records, Ian Eugene Kieger of an Eva Kennedy Road address was arrested on Nov. 3, after 11 p.m. Police were summoned to the Walmart on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road after Kieger attempted a purchase there that did not process.

Police found that Kieger had three cards that were not his. The suspect told police that he found the cards in Statesboro, and did not know who they belonged to.

Charges were financial transaction card theft and fraud, according to police.
