Police Chase Suspect Is Injured in Gwinnett
The suspect fled a traffic stop and was struck by a responding Duluth Police vehicle.

Officers from Duluth Police Department, the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), and Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) are on the scene of a person hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Steve Reynolds Boulevard and Old Norcross Road.
A Duluth police officer attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle in the city of Duluth. The suspect vehicle did not stop and fled a short distance before the driver abandoned the vehicle and continued to flee on foot.

GCPD units in the area became aware of the chase, saw the suspect on foot, and attempted to help apprehend him. The fleeing suspect was struck by a responding Duluth police vehicle. The suspect was transported from the scene by ambulance.
The accident investigation is being handled by Georgia State Patrol and Duluth Police Depatment.
