Vehicle Window Smashed Outside Suwanee Business

Employee was inside the business when the car was entered, apparently by a potential thief.

A vehicle window was smashed recently outside a Suwanee-area business on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, apparently by a potential thief.

An employee who works inside the Gold's Gym in the 200 block of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard reported Feb. 19 that the employee's car's passenger window was smashed, according to Gwinnett Police.

According to Gwinnett Police records, the car was parked outside the business. The employee noticed the damage about 6:45 p.m., after starting work in the afternoon.

No items were taken from the vehicle. The employee said clothes were left in the passenger seat, and that the suspect may have thought valuables were under the clothes.

A gym member said she saw a young person sitting in a vehicle parked near the employee's vehicle, but could not offer a description, police said.
