Woman Jailed After Armed Robbery, Chase in Suwanee

The matter happened at midday Monday at Quizno's, and involved a 14-mile chase by Suwanee Police.

A Suwanee woman was jailed Monday (June 10) on armed robbery charges after a midday incident in which police said she held up an eatery on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, then fled police.

Jaquelyn Nhu Tran of a Lake Point Circle address has been charged with armed robbery, attempting to elude officers and reckless driving. The incident began with a robbery at the Quizno's on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard about 11 a.m., Suwanee Police said.

Police said the suspect brandished a gun and a note that said "give me all your money" at the restaurant.

A Suwanee officer encountered the armed suspect as she was leaving the store, and a pursuit ensued. The suspect, driving a white SUV, surrendered in a parking lot near Old Peachtree and Buford Drive.
