Governor To Speak at Georgia Gwinnett College

Deal will deliver commencement address in June.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal will send  Class of 2011 off into the real world. Deal has been chosen to address the graduates at GGC's commencement exercises on June 2.

Some of the graduates of this class include students who were enrolled at GGC for all four years of their educational experience. One hundred students will receive their diplomas this June, making it the largest graduating class since the college opened its doors in 2006. The school began accepting freshmen in 2007.

“We are most pleased to have the Governor at this commencement program, as it represents another milestone in our brief history,” GGC President Daniel J. Kaufman said in a release.  “It is important to us to have a keynote speaker who will deliver an address that our graduates will remember for a lifetime.  We certainly appreciate his willingness to speak to our first ‘all-GGC’ class.”
