A key seat on the board will go before voters. Incumbent Mary Kay Murphy, a Republican, and Jen Falk, a Democrat, will be running for the District 3 seat that includes the Suwanee schools.

Gwinnett commission District 1: The county's governing body has an open seat. Former Suwanee City Council member Jace Brooks and Suwanee accountant Laurie McClain, both Republicans, want to lead the area that includes Suwanee.
