Suwanee Beerfest Packs 'Em In
First-time event was expected to draw about 4,000 people.

It wasn't hard to find the beer tent Saturday at Town Center Park.
The Suwanee Beerfest started at noon with several vendors, many of them breweries offering samples of their wares. Organizers were expecting about 4,000 people, with tickets at $35 (prepaid) and $40 (at the gate). The line to get in began forming well before the event opened.

The event was administered by Suwanee Magazine, in conjunction with city officials. Suwanee Patch will have more coverage of the Beerfest soon.
