Hancock is COO of ACP. Also, a Lawrenceville attorney will seek the district post as a Democrat.

"Congress should not be a career, so my goal is to spend only one term in Washington," Hancock's website reads. "Serving in Congress would be a great privilege, but it would also be a burden on my family and my business.  I am counting on the fact that after one term someone else will come forward to take their turn."

Hancock cited excessive federal spending as a reason for seeking the District 7 seat.

"Our country is at a point that unless we elect a majority of Congressmen and Senators who are committed to reducing the size and scope of the Federal Government we may not survive," his website reads.

"We are spending at unsustainable levels, and no matter what they say, Congress continues business as usual. When I wrote this the debt listed on the official government ‘debt’ website was $15,674,182,767,474.36, a number I can’t even begin to understand.  Currently the total debt is at 104% of the US GDP and still the spending continues, piling even more debt on us and our children."

Reilly is a partner in the Lawrenceville law firm of Andrew, Merritt, Reilly & Smith, LLP., according to Snellville Patch. He lives in Peachtree Corners.
