Suwanee Prepares for TSPLOST Public Forum

Suwanee City Hall prepared Monday to become the latest focal point in the discussion over TSPLOST, the transportation referendum that is currently before Gwinnett voters as part of the July 31 ballot.
Gwinnett County Transportation Director Kim Conroy and Suwanee City Manager Marty Allen were among the officials arriving early to set up the video presentation.
The discussion is one of several being held by city and county officials throughout Gwinnett.

The Transportation Investment Act, as it is formally known, would add a 1-percent sales tax over 10 years throughout metro Atlanta. The monies raised would fund transportation-related improvements.
