City Council also recognizes North Gwinnett Arts Association leader.

Suwanee's never-ending eye for art is yielding a new wrinkle: electronic audio for people touring SculpTour.

City Council on Tuesday gave the OK for city staff to apply for a $3,500 grant from the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau; the money would be used to produce a digital tool for smartphones that could be used in conjunction with the city's walkable outdoor art exhibit.

Denise Brinson, Suwanee's director of economic development, said the audio would be in the form of an app or podcast; it should be available in 30-45 days.
