Help GCPS Decide on Curriculum

Community members are welcome. Application deadline is Friday.

Members of the public are welcome to apply to be on the committe that provides input on the system's curriculum, according to a news release.

Deadline is Friday, June 1. The GEMS Oversight Committee is a group of community and school system representatives charged with the annual review of the district’s Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum. Committee
members serve three-year terms, the release said.

Applications should be returned by June 1 to Dr. Calvin Watts, associate superintendent for Teaching and Learning Support, at the Instructional Support Center, 437 Old Peachtree Road, Suwanee, 30024.

Interested individuals can find the application on the school district’s web site, www.gwinnett.k12.ga.us.
