New Principal Named at Collins Hill High

The move means another new school leader in the Suwanee area.

Collins Hill High has become the third Suwanee high school to get a new principal in recent months.

According to a Gwinnett County Public Schools announcement, Kerensa Wing, currently principal at Lanier High in Sugar Hill, will be moving to the same position at Collins Hill High. Wing will replace Glenn McFall, who retired in December.

The new principal has a history at Collins Hill; she was assistant principal there from 2004-10, before moving to the top job at Lanier.

Previously, Nathan Ballentine was named as principal at North Gwinnett High, and Jeff Mathews was named as principal at Peachtree Ridge High. Those moves were a result of a reorganization within the Gwinnett schools' system.
