No School for Suwanee and Gwinnett on Friday and Monday

Gwinnett County schools are closed Feb. 15 and Feb. 18 (President's Day). See what other upcoming days will impact students and teachers.

It will be a long weekend for students in Suwanee and Gwinnett.

Gwinnett County Public Schools will be closed Friday, Feb. 15 and Monday, Feb. 18, President's Day. Neither students nor teachers will report to class.

These days were originally scheduled as this school year's first snow make-up days. However, the district has not had to close because of bad weather.

Upcoming Days to Remember

Feb. 25 - 26: These are early release days for kindergarten through eighth grade. Classes are ending early for parent-teacher conferences.

March 11: This is a student holiday, and a planned furlough day for school employees.

March 29: This is the next snow make-up day. Teachers and students will be out that day if there are no weather cancellations until then.Β
