Her audition apparently went well, meeting with enthusiasm from judges Keith Urban and Randy Jackson, according to the video in the My Fox Atlanta article.
"It's nerve-wracking -- the entire time, you're just like, 'I don't know when I'm going to leave.' You don't know if you're going to be what they want," Gilomen told My Fox Atlanta.
"Yes she was nervous," Gilomen's mother said of her daughter's audition experience, "but she handled it beautifully."
Gilomen also has posted her singing efforts to her YouTube channel. Her cover of Taylor Swift's "Last Kiss" is attached.
And her Twitter feed is abuzz with chatter of her "Idol" experience.
"My teachers are just gonna have to understand that what I did yesterday was a little more important than homework...," read her posted dated January 24.
Also appearing on Wednesday's "Idol" show were Brian Rittenberry of Jasper and Isabel Gonzalez of Alpharetta, according to My Fox Atlanta.
