Gwinnett County’s newest school, Northbrook Middle, will open its doors for the first time this weekend as the community is invited to tour their new facility.
The school, set to open in August, will hold a special open house before the new school year begins. Students, parents, and community members are invited to “The Northbrook Community Tour” this Sunday, June 29, from 2-4 p.m.

The school is located at 1221 Northbrook Parkway, Suwanee, 30024.

During the school’s community tour, students will have the opportunity to tour the school and see their new classrooms. They also will meet their new principal, Dr. Keith Thompson, as well as other staff members.
In addition to this open house, the school has set a date for a second event in August for the business community. “The Northbrook Business Community Open House” is scheduled for Sunday, August 10.

The event will introduce the new middle school to the Northbrook Parkway business community, paving the way for community collaboration to support student achievement.
Northbrook Middle will be Gwinnett’s second middle school in the Peachtree Ridge Cluster. It will relieve the school district’s largest middle school, Hull Middle, by approximately 900 students. Students in the Jackson Elementary attendance zone will feed into Northbrook Middle and then into Peachtree Ridge High.
