Suwanee 2012 High School Football Schedules Are Out

The new '6-A' classification is in effect.

Football season is just four months away, and here's another reminder. The 2012 football schedules are out for the Suwanee schools, as well as others in the Georgia High School Association. So here's something you can print and stick on the refrigerator to be ready.

A difference for 2012: , and are now in the new "6-A" classification, specifically in Region 7-AAAAAA.

There are some familiar touches, too. North Gwinnett, the defending region champion, and Peachtree Ridge will open the season in the Corky Kell Classic in the Georgia Dome on Aug. 25. They will face South Georgia foes: North will get a rematch with Colquitt County, and Peachtree Ridge will face Camden County.

Some key dates: North at Peachtree Ridge, Nov. 9; Collins Hill at Peachtree Ridge, Oct. 5; North at Collins Hill, Oct. 26.
