College Golf Tour Event Heads for Suwanee
Laurel Springs will be the site of the Collegiate Players Tour event.
Some college golfers from the Atlanta area will be among those teeing it up at Laurel Springs Golf Club in Suwanee next Monday-Wednesday (June 20-22) for a Collegiate Players Tour event.
Harrison Florence of Roswell (U.S. Military Academy) and Eric Hodgson of Marietta (Cumberland University) are among those who are scheduled to play in Suwanee. The CPT, in its 18th year, provides summer competition for college-age men and women. It is sanctioned by the U.S. Golf Association and both college golf associations. State Farm is the main sponsor of the tour.
A fund-raiser will be Monday beginning at 9 a.m. to benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia. Admission to view is free.

The two-day competition for players will be Tuesday-Wednesday. The tour runs from June through August.
Laurel Springs is located at 6400 Golf Club Drive in Suwanee.
