Collins Hill's Devin Mitchell Commits to University of Alabama
Mitchell is considered among the top shooting guard prospects in the nation.
Collins Hills basketball star Devin Mitchell announced Wednesday that he is committing to the University of Alabama.
The shooting guard, ranked among the top prospects for 2014, made the announcement on Twitter at 3 p.m.
"Appreciative of everyone, I am happy to say I will further my education and my career at The University of Alabama," he tweeted.
Just last week Mitchell cut his choices to eight, which included: University of Georgia, Wake Forest University, University of Alabama-Birmingham, Kansas State University, University of Memphis, University of Mississippi and the University of Cincinnati.
