Double-Header Scheduled for Coolray on Sunday

Rain washes out Saturday's game. McCann's rehab continues.

In what could be Brian McCann's final day at Coolray Field in 2013, the Gwinnett Braves are scheduled to play twice. Rain forced Saturday night's game to be called off.

The G-Braves and Scranton Wilkes/Barre are scheduled for a double-header Sunday (May 5), beginning at 12:30 p.m. Both games will be seven innings.

McCann, the Atlanta Braves' veteran catcher and Duluth High grad, is on an injury rehab assignment after off-season shoulder surgery. He is expected to rejoin Atlanta for this week's series at Cincinnati.

In two games with Gwinnett in 2013, McCann is 3-for-8 (.375) with one home run.

However, a flood warning remains in effect for Sunday in Gwinnett, with thunderstorms also possible after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
