Georgia SPCA Run for the Rescues 5K and Fun Run

Strut your Mutt at the Georgia SPCA 2nd Annual Run for the Rescues 5K and Fun Run. Fun Run will begin at 8:30am and 5K Race will take place at 9:00 am in the beautiful Suwanee Town Center Park in the heart of Suwanee. We encourage everyone to bring their dogs for this run to benefit homeless pets. After the race stick around for awards, prizes, food, beverage, lots and lots of vendors and much more!

All competitors who register early will receive the Run for the Rescues T-Shirt (late registration and day of only while supplies last) & Runners Bag There will be trophies/prizes awarded to the top finishers for both Men and Women Overall/Masters and in age groups - 3 deep. Fun Run participants will receive a medal. Bandanas will be awarded to all dogs participating in the event. Pets will be available for adoption on-site. Dog Trainer, Micro-Chipping ($25), LOTS of vendors with freebies and items for purchase and will be taking orders!

The Georiga Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is a 501 C3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to alleviating the pet overpopulation problem in Georgia. As a NO KILL Organization, all healthy animals accepted by the Georgia SPCA are placed in an adoption center or foster home until adopted. All pets are fully vetted prior to adoption, including all vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, spay or neuter and micro-chip.
