Free Baseball at Coolray Field on August 29

Fallout from Hurricane Isaac causes more schedule changes for Gwinnett Braves.

With just two dates remaining on the 2012 home schedule, the Gwinnett Braves continue to shift game times, due to weather effects from Hurricane Isaac.

Wednesday (Aug. 29), the 1:05 p.m. game with Pawtucket will be free of charge. This is a makeup game, because Tuesday's game was rained out, even though it was shifted to an afternoon start because of expected rain from Isaac.

Also, the scheduled Wednesday game has been shifted to Thursday (Aug. 30), and the same teams will play a double-header starting at 5:05 p.m. Thursday’s games will still feature regularly-priced tickets, according to a G-Braves news release.

Fans who have purchased tickets for Tuesday's or Wednesday’s games may exchange their tickets for Thursday's double-header or any April game in 2013, eexcept Opening Day, the team said.

The G-Braves advised everyone to remain on attention for more possible schedule changes.

Thursday's double-header will be the G-Braves' final appearance at Coolray Field for 2012 -- and it also will be Fan Appreciation Night.  The team will finish the season Sept. 3.
