Gwinnett Braves Planning Fireworks on July Fourth

Bark In The Park also among the highlights for current homestand.

The Gwinnett Braves are coming home with a bang.

The team will return to Coolray Field in Lawrenceville on Monday (game time: 7:05 p.m.) to take on Durham, another strong contender in the International League South. After the game, there will be a fireworks display. Also Monday, there will be a thunderstick giveaway, and fans can participate in a silent auction for their favorite player's game-worn jersey.

-- Tuesday, July 5 (vs. Durham, 7:05 p.m.): Fans can bring a Kraft singles cheese wrapper for a buy-one, get-one free ticket offer.

-- Friday, July 8 (vs. Charlotte, 7:05 p.m.): Another post-game fireworks display.

-- Saturday, July 9 (vs. Charlotte, 6:05 p.m.): Asian Heritage Night. For the first time,Β Georgia will host the Welcome of the Dragon ceremony at Coolray Field. This legendary ceremony is part of the Duan Wu Festival and Dragon Boat Racing, a long time tradition of the Chinese culture. Gates will open at 2:45 p.m. for this event, with a game ticket required for admission.

-- Sunday, July 10 (vs. Charlotte, 2:05 p.m.): Bark In The Park. Fans can bring their dogs to the game. There will be a pregame parade as well as contests and prizes.
