Gwinnett Braves Get a Shutout

Atlanta's Hudson expected to start Wednesday for Gwinnett.

Three Gwinnett pitchers combined on a shutout Tuesday as the G-Braves took a 6-0 victory over Norfolk at Coolray Field.

Julio Teheran went 5 2/3 innings, allowing two hits and seven strikeouts. He now has pitched 10 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings this season. Buddy Carlyle and Ben Swaggerty finished the shutout for Gwinnett.

The big blow at the plate was a three-run double by Jose Yepez in the fourth inning.

The teams play again Wednesday (7:05 p.m.) for Norfolk. Tim Hudson of the Atlnata Braves is expected to make a rehab start for Gwinnett.
