June Swoon Continues for Gwinnett Braves

Team loses fourth straight Thursday.

The Gwinnett Braves lost their fourth straight game Thursday, as host Lehigh Valley came from a 2-0 deficit to take a 5-2 victory.

Right hander Kris Medlen, in his second start for Gwinnett, held the Iron Pigs scoreless through five innings. However, Lehigh Valley broke through with five runs in the sixth against Buddy Carlyle.

Lance Zawadzki led the G-Braves offensively, going 2-for-3.

Jair Jurrjens (3-3, 5.56 ERA) starts Friday for Gwinnett at Lehigh Valley.
