UPDATED: Moore, UConn In Final Four Again

Former Collins Hill star leads regional finals win Tuesday.

Maya Moore, the former basketball star now at UConn, kept her chances of a third straight national title alive Tuesday night.

Moore had 28 points and 10 rebounds as the Huskies (36-1) defeated Duke, 78-40, in the NCAA women's tournament regional final in Philadelphia.

Moore, a 6-0 senior forward, and the Huskies will play Notre Dame on Sunday in the national semifinals. Stanford and Texas A&M will play in the other semifinal.

The NCAA women's semifinals and finals will be in Indianapolis on Sunday (April 3) and Tuesday (April 5). The games will be televised on ESPN; Sunday's UConn-Notre Dame game starts at 9:30 p.m. EDT.

On Sunday, Moore led the Huskies to a 68-63 comeback victory  over Georgetown in the regional semifinals.

Moore made one of two free throws with 6.8 seconds remaining to seal the victory Sunday. UConn went on a 13-0 run in the second half to overcome a Georgetown lead.

Moore had 23 points and 14 rebounds in Sunday's game.

It has been another stellar season for Moore. She is the Big East Player of the Year, averaging 23.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Earlier this season, the UConn women extended their winning streak to 90 games, longest ever (men or women) in NCAA history. Moore's career high of 41 points came vs. Florida State this season, and she is UConn's all-time leading scorer.
